My Most Motivated Day Since the End of Exams

,

Today marks the most motivated day that I had ever since I completed my exams on the 5th of May. My fun-loving self decided to start the day right instead of the usual slacking and playful mode.

Want to know how much I enjoyed myself since 5th May?

Here goes…

5th May PM: After the exams, I went to Holland Village for a good sumptuous meal of pizza and baked rice from N.Y.D.C. and a couple of drinks at the nearby Breko (oh gosh.. u should check out their 2 for $12 deal! lol!)

6th May: Slept till early afternoon before I went over to Calvin’s place where we carried out our movie marathon and watched movies such as Along Came Polly. We ordered take out too because we were too lazy to go to the nearby food centre to pack lunch!

7th May: We both woke up really early to go fetch Jonathan from the airport! We had the BK breakfast and broke Jonathan to his hotel to check in. Then we went to Chinatown and went for the YUM CHA buffet!! lol! We really ate till we were stuffed and hung out in Chinatown which Jon said, “Man.. it looks just like in the movies!” 😛

oh no.. I can’t remember the in-betweens!!

10th May: My cousin’s wedding! I was there for the tea ceremony, photo shoot and even hosted the wedding dinner!! Gosh!! It was a mighty tiring day and I indulged in my Starbucks Cafe Latte and the Almond Butter cake… woooo.. it was heavenly especially when I was suffering from the lack of sleep!

11th May: It was a powerful service held in the indoor stadium and I was really revitalized with God’s love. I’ve not had such a powerful annointing since a long time.. But it certainly caused me to go on a powerful embark on ‘after-school’ life! We went to Bugis for our lunch at Swenson’s and indulged in the new Hazelnut Ice Cream Sundae they had… it was heavenly!! Sim Lim Square was our next stop and Jonathan really indulged in buying a lot (i mean a lot) of gadgets! Haha.. As for Calvin and I, we finally bought our first digicam together.. My old digicam’s cost was shared between the 2 men in my life – my dad and calvin.. (my dad’s extra!!) lol! this time, it’s just the two of us….

and, I watched the EPL finals with my dearest Xiaowen! It was Man Utd’s night ok! And I was there to witness it!! Hahaa.. It felt sooo good to see Ryan Giggs lifting up the trophy LIVE!!

12th May: SENTOSA (an offshore island)!! Need I say more? Hahaha..

13th May: I can’t remember again!! But it was Jonathan’s last day in Singapore… oh!! We went to Orchard to do final shopping…

14th May: It was boohoohoo bon voyage to Jonathan and Calvin and I just fell asleep and we slept till it was dinner time!! Hahaa.. then we went to.. mmm.. was it Crystal Jade? (I think so..) for dinner!! Yummmmmy…!

15th and 16th May: I was just slacking while my dear Calvin was busy doing his work… hahaha.. I was just stoning into the computer!!

NOW, I’m finally on the go!

I started this day really cool by planning exactly what I wanted to accomplish right at the beginning of the day. I decided not to be tooo ambitious and I concentrated on the top 5 most important things to do.
1. Blog an entry (which I did earlier!)
2. Set assignments for 5 individual freelancers

3. Finish up my work on our latest project
4. Clear clothes off the sofa bed (which is a pile by the way)

5. Clear my room (it was in an utter mess but not now!)

Well, it might not seem like a lot that i accomplished but I can be sure that if i hadn’t set those goals at the beginning of the day, I bet today would have just gone wasted! It just goes to show how important it is to set goals not only on a long term basis but also a short term one such that we are constantly challenged everyday to accomplish a little that adds up to go a long way.

So start making it a habit to set daily goals to make sure that your energies will be focused and targeted towards achieving the outcomes you desire!

mmm.. which gives me that idea to start blogging at the beginning of the day to share with you my daily goals and to review at the end of the day, whether I have achieve them.. wow.. sounds like a cool feat.. let’s see if I do accomplish that ya!!! haha.. 😀 do cheer me on!!
